1. Information we collect
When you create an account or purchase a product, we collect your name, email address, and the billing details needed to process payment. If you submit an offline payment, we also collect the payment proof and reference you provide so our team can verify it. Using support channels may add the messages, screenshots, or site details you choose to share with us.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to create and manage your account, issue and track product licenses across the marketplace, process payments and renewals, send order- and billing-related notifications, and respond when you contact support.
3. Data retention
We keep account and order records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet accounting, tax, and license-support obligations. Payment proof submitted for offline verification is retained only as long as needed to resolve that transaction and satisfy applicable financial record-keeping rules. You can request earlier deletion under Section 8, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.
4. International data transfers
Softiconic serves customers across many countries, so your information may be processed or stored in a country other than the one you live in, including countries whose data protection laws may differ from your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it continues to receive an appropriate level of protection.
5. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in (your session token) and to remember choices such as this cookie banner. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings at any time; doing so may sign you out or reset saved preferences.
6. Payment information
Card payments are processed by our payment gateway providers — we do not store your full card details on our servers. Offline bank transfer details you submit are stored only for the purpose of verifying that specific payment.
7. Third-party links & embedded content
Product pages, documentation, or support responses may link to third-party sites — including individual developers’ own sites for products they publish through Softiconic. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not operate, and we encourage you to review their policies before sharing information with them.
8. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the payment gateways needed to process a transaction, with the developer of a specific product where necessary to deliver license-related support for that product, and with service providers who help operate the platform under obligations to protect it.
9. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including secure password storage and restricted access to customer records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately and to respond promptly if that protection is ever compromised.

If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@softiconic.com.
